La Petite Histoire
In every home, there is a soul waiting to be revealed. I believe that an interior is not a space to be decorated, but a story to be told.
I have called San Francisco home since 2008, and my design philosophy is a dialogue between two worlds: the bold, innovative spirit of American living and the storied, refined textures of my French heritage. With a deep-seated passion for our city’s Victorian and Edwardian architecture, I have always viewed design as a form of narration. I am endlessly inspired by the architectural color palettes of our streets—the way a historic facade can dance with light and personality. For me, a sterile, monochromatic white is never enough; I crave the patina, the layers, and the rich, emotive hues that bridge the gap between honoring history and meeting our modern need for well-being.
Fifteen years ago, I began transforming my own home. My goal was twofold: to celebrate the authentic beauty of Edwardian style through meticulous restoration, and to reimagine the floor plan to prioritize fluidity, light, and a sense of serenity. Today, this space is a living witness to my evolution—a testament to my commitment to natural, clean living. To me, design is not about mere decoration; it is about crafting a "nid de vie"—a nurturing nest—deeply inspired by the unique souls who inhabit it. I do not design cold, flawless interiors; I craft sanctuaries that hold the marks of life, because a home that is too perfectly polished is a home that hasn’t yet begun to tell its story.
I believe in a Slow Design, a mindful approach to living and creating. By choosing quality over quantity and timelessness over trends, we craft spaces that aren't just built to last—they are built to be cherished.
Through Histoires Intérieures, I offer a complete design journey. My work goes beyond aesthetics: I am with you from the first spark of inspiration to the final detail of execution. I manage the complexities of construction and renovation, ensuring that the integrity of our design is upheld at every stage. Whether we are meticulously restoring original woodwork or reimagining a space to nurture your daily well-being, my approach remains the same: artisanal, hands-on, and deeply human.
Welcome to my home, and welcome to the art of living in stories.
